Register for free
Go to app.medinits.com → Click "Register" → Enter your name, email, and password → Select Free plan → No credit card needed.

Complete your clinic profile
Go to Settings → Clinic Profile → Add clinic name, address, phone, UPI ID, and your logo. This appears on prescriptions and reports.

Add your AI key (optional)
Go to Settings → AI Configuration → Select "Groq" → Get a free key from console.groq.com → Paste it → Save. You get 5 free/day without any key.

Add your first patient
Click Patients → + Add Patient → Enter name, phone, age, gender, allergies → Save. Or import a CSV from your existing records.

Run your first AI consultation
Click AI Consultation → Select a patient → Choose specialty → Type or speak the complaint → Click Generate Notes → Prescription ready in 2.4 seconds.

Print your booking QR code
Click Dashboard → 📱 My QR → Download or print the QR code → Place at clinic reception so patients can book and view records.

Adding Your Own Groq Key
Go to console.groq.com → Sign up free → Create API key (starts with gsk_) → MediNITS Settings → AI Configuration → Select Groq → Paste key → Save. Now unlimited consultations.

AI automatically checks the prescription against allergies documented in the patient record. If a conflict is detected, a red warning banner shows before you confirm the prescription.

Sending AI Summary via WhatsApp

💬 WhatsApp Communication
Send AI-drafted messages to patients via WhatsApp — with zero API setup required.

AI drafts the message
After every consultation, invoice, or appointment — click any "Send WhatsApp" button. AI generates a tailored message based on the context.

Preview and edit
A modal shows the full message. You can edit any part of it before sending. Nothing goes out without your approval.

Open WhatsApp and tap Send
Click "Open WhatsApp & Send" → WhatsApp opens on your device with the message pre-typed to the correct patient number → You tap Send once.

Billing → + Invoice → Select patient → Add line items with amounts → Enter GST rate → Save. UPI QR is auto-generated for instant payment collection.

Billing → 📋 All Invoices → Filter by Paid/Unpaid/Credit tabs → See total billed, collected, and pending at the top. Mark invoices as paid with one click.

Click "⬇ Download QR" → Print on A4 paper or a table card → Place at reception desk or paste on the clinic entrance wall.

Patient Consent Collection
When you add a new patient, MediNITS shows a DPDP consent modal explaining what data is collected and why. Consent is stored with timestamp in Supabase.

Settings → Export Data → Downloads all patient records, invoices, and visits as a JSON file. Required for patient right-to-access requests under DPDP.

Deleting Patient Data
Patient profile → Actions → Anonymize Patient → Replaces name, phone, email with anonymized values while preserving clinical statistics. Complies with right to erasure.

Data Encryption
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256 via Supabase). Passwords are SHA-256 hashed. API keys are stored in Supabase Vault, never in application code.

Settings → Clinic Profile → Add clinic name, address, phone, email, UPI ID, and upload your logo (PNG/JPG, max 500KB). Logo appears on prescriptions and the topbar.

Settings → AI Configuration → Choose provider (Groq recommended) → Paste your API key → Select model (or leave blank for default). Supports Groq, Gemini, OpenAI, Claude, Together AI.

Settings → WhatsApp → Choose provider: "Interakt (Recommended)" or "Meta Cloud API" → Paste your Interakt API key (from app.interakt.ai). Leave blank for free shared key (wa.me mode).

How do I get unlimited AI consultations for free? +
Go to console.groq.com → Sign up (it's free) → Create API Key → Copy the key (starts with gsk_) → Open MediNITS Settings → AI Configuration → Select Groq → Paste key → Save. You now have unlimited AI consultations at no cost. Groq's llama-3.1-8b-instant model is free.
Do I need a Meta or Facebook account for WhatsApp? +
No. MediNITS uses a zero-setup approach: AI drafts the message, you preview it, WhatsApp opens on your phone with the message pre-typed, and you tap Send. No Meta account, no API key, no business verification. Works from day one.
Is my patient data safe? +
Yes. MediNITS uses Supabase with Row-Level Security (RLS) — your clinic's data is completely isolated from other clinics at the database level. Passwords are hashed. API keys are encrypted in Supabase Vault. All connections use TLS 1.3. We are DPDP 2023 compliant.
Can I use MediNITS on my phone? +
Yes. Open app.medinits.com in Chrome (Android) or Safari (iPhone) → tap the browser menu → "Add to Home Screen" or "Install App" → MediNITS installs like a native app with full-screen display. Works on both iOS and Android.
What happens to my data if I cancel? +
Your data is retained for 90 days after cancellation so you can export it. Go to Settings → Export Data to download everything as JSON. After 90 days, data is permanently deleted from our servers. We never hold your data hostage.
Does MediNITS support multiple doctors? +
Multi-doctor support is available on the Professional plan and above. Each doctor gets their own login credentials and the clinic admin can manage access. The Free and Starter plans are designed for single-doctor practices.
How do I import my existing patient records? +
Go to Patients → Import CSV → Download the template → Fill with your patient data (Name, Phone, DOB, Gender, Blood Group, Allergies, Address) → Upload → Map columns → Import. No data loss — duplicates are detected by phone number.
Is MediNITS available outside India? +
Yes. MediNITS works globally. Pricing is available in INR, USD, GBP, EUR, AED, SGD, AUD, and CAD. WhatsApp via wa.me works internationally. AI consultation works with any language (English primary, Hindi and others supported via speech recognition).
